Ubisoft released a statement today informing the video game world that they will be working closely with the creator of the Where’s Waldo books, Martin Handford, on an upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3DS title. They will be debuting a launch trailer for the game next week, but we at Ragdoll Farcists have been permitted to post early screenshots on our site. Ubisoft was also kind enough to provide us with this short description of the title:
“A mysterious thrill-seeker known only as ‘Waldo’ has been sighted in various venues where young children end up missing. Coincidence or calculated, it is up to Desmond Miles to step back into the world of the Animus and travel decades back in time to 1987, where he hopes to uncover the secrets of this evasive wanderer…and perhaps discover more of his assassin’s lineage in the process.”
The game is an apparent prequel, as it stars Desmond Miles as the lead protagonist; however, the exact time in which the title takes place is still unclear. Check out the screens provided below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts on the forthcoming AC handheld game.
